vegan gluten-free chocolate tarts
This chocolate tart recipe is one of my new favorite desserts! I’ve been making lots of them recently. They’re a great treat to end the day with, and I always look forward to tasting their rich, creamy, chocolatey goodness. And I always have to remind myself that they’re made with avocados (I would never guess it!)
My adaptations to the original recipe include that I increased the amount of dates and walnuts in order to make enough crust for 12 tarts. For the filling, I used maple syrup instead of brown rice syrup (although both would work), and increased the amount of maple syrup to add more sweetness (but feel free to adjust according to your preferences).
