new york city
this summer, i studied fashion, food, and film for two weeks in n.y.c. with the school of the new york times. these past couple weeks have been amazing! i visited so many different places and ate so much good food (new york city is THE PLACE for foodies).
during these two weeks, i learned more about what i'm interested in as well as gained some new experiences. i never even knew how a subway worked before this, but now it doesn't seem so scary!
some of the highlights of the course were making a short film, eating at a place called dumpling galaxy (best dumplings i've ever had), slurping down boba from boba guys, learning how to write food reviews & recipes, making gnocchi, visiting mood fabrics, learning about sustainable fashion, and brainstroming my own fashion brand.
there was a lot of time to explore the city too. i walked the high line and made my way through all the nooks and crannies of chelsea market (highly recommend). i also saw three broadway shows at night, found my way to the iconic shake shack, browsed through the aisles of strand bookstore, and did some early morning runs in central park. there really is always something fun to do in n.y.c.
here are some photos i took from my last couple weeks. this city is incredible!
